Hey lovelies! For all the beauties sunscreen has become a vanity essential. No matter how much you take care of your skin through the day, once you step out in the sun, it all go tanned. I mean most of the skin damage is because of tanning and UV rays. People are running after skin corrector creams, skin brightening lotions and what not. But the most important factor is when you are outside in the sun; your skin does get affected one way or other; that’s why sunscreen has become a essential in skincare routine. Even when you go to a dermatologist for any skin related problem they first recommend you SUNSCREEN.

Sunscreen has several ingredients that prevent UV rays to damage our skin. UV rays and UV-B rays not only damage our skin but also age it prematurely and increase the risk of skin cancer and skin diseases. It has SPF i.e. Sun protection factor, which helps to protect from UV-B rays. It works as a shield for our skin. That why sunscreen has become a skin care ritual for all of us. If you notice keenly you will find that now most of our makeup product also contain SPF factor so that the makeup can stay longer and also protect our skin.

I PERSONALLY recommend you to add a sunscreen in your skincare routine. The daily usage of sunscreen does helps to protect your skin from harmful UV rays and  to stay acne free. It also helps to fight against anti ageing. You need not to use any brightening cream or anti ageing cream if you apply sunscreen RELIGIOUSLY.

There are few factors which you should consider while buying a sunscreen.

•         It should be non greasy
•         It should have an SPF above 30.
•         It would be a plus point if the sunscreen has PA+++

Today I’ll be reviewing one of my fav sunscreen- LA ROCHE-POSAY LABORATORIE DERMATOLOGIQUE

It has got quite a reputation in market. It’s a French product. I bought in Apollo pharmacy.

Product description: - It has a SPF 50+ with high protection from UV-B and UV-A. It is Ultra light fluid formula which is non greasy and absorb easily in your skin.

Review on the product

I brought this sunscreen in summers and it worked wonders for me. The product packaging is white and orange in colour. It is quite simple plastic bottle which comes with a interesting side opening .  It is best for travelling purpose. Thumps up for that. 

It has a runny fluid texture which is pale yellow in colour. It does have a mild medicated smells which doesn’t stay longer more than few seconds. Before applying the lotion you need to first shake the bottle so that mixture is well shaken, then press a bit and the fluid will comes out. You just need to apply a small amount on your skin and it  will spread out evenly. It doesn’t irritate your skin or break out. It does have a mild medicated odour, but that doesn't stay long. It does give a little moisture to your skin but doesn’t get sticky for long. I would personally recommend you to use this sunscreen for once. It will not disappoint you I am sure.

Cons:

• It is high on budget.
• You may not like the odour of the lotion.

Repurchase this product: Yes definately. Suit with all the skin type and best part is its non greasy. Sure a HIT!
