So, Today I will be sharing a list of affordable highlighters which will lighten up your makeup and gives you that perfect glow.

Powder Highlighter

This highlighter is quite a buzz right now. It’s selling like hot cake. This highlighter is a dupe of Becca highlighter which is an ultimate illuminator. Makeup Revolution has really made awesome product which will give you a champagne illuminating glow. It is perfect if you have tan skin, perfect for Indian or warm skin type. This may not suit light skin type but best for warm skin type. It gives you perfect glow without using too much product. The product comes in a flip cap circular plastic packaging which is very huge. In this price you will get enough of the product which will last for more than a year. I would give a  GRAB for this product. A must try product.

Elf is one of the most affordable drugstore cosmetic brand. They some great product in affordable price range. One of their bestselling product is Elf baked highlighter. The pigmentation of this product is great and the application is very smooth. It blends easily and gives you natural glow. It comes in 4 different shades for all skin type. I think in this price point and with this quality, it’s a great product to buy and try.

This is yet another powder base product which is baked and shimmery. There are 7 different shades in this highlighter. PAC has really come up with great highlighter now. They have become youtube sensation. This is very warm and easily blendable highlighter. It is baked so it will not get deposited on your cheeks. It will get warmed up b your body temperature and easily settle on your makeup.  PAC serves you with different shades which will suit different skin types and mood. This is yet another good highlighter in this range.

This highlighter is much talked about in affordable range. It comes in Pearls shade which is very pigmented and creamy. It is very easily blendable and gives you perfect glow like a high end highlighter. It is best in this price range. I give defiantly GRAB this product for my vanity.

This highlighter is my personal favourite. It is so smooth and melts like butter. It gives you that perfect glow which you will die for. Though this product is little expensive than all the other products but for this formula I am ready to put in some more bucks. The pigmentation is amazing and the packaging is so classic and worth to carry. It comes in 2 shades- Afterglow and Sunglow. Both are lovely shades and suits all skin type. I love this product. A must buy product.

Liquid Based Highlighter

• NYX Professional Makeup born to glow Liquid Illuminator

This is a liquid based highlighter which comes in 4 different shades which will suits different skin types. The consistency of the product is amazing. It blends easily and gives you shiny glow. It will suit to all skin type but don’t use compact before this otherwise it will look layered up and doesn’t blend. Use this product first and then other powder product over it. It comes in a small type and is great size for being travel friendly. I personally feel that this product is not for daily wear as it doesn’t last very long. I prefer wearing it for the parties and special event. But it is a great product.

• L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator

This L’Oreal liquid highlighter is amazing. It gives you that shimmery glow which blends easily with your makeup. It comes in 2 different shades- Golden Dore, Rose. These more suitable for medium to light skin tone. If you have dark skin tone, don’t buy this product. The product has great consistency and shimmer. It is best for daily wear as well as for events.

• Maybelline New York Facestudio Master Strobing Cream

This cream highlighter is very light and blends easily on your skin. It comes in a tube packaging and best for daily wear. It comes in 2 shades- Nude and Pink. I feel this will more suits to light to medium skin tone.

Cream Based Highlighter

• NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick

Yet another NYX product which has proven its worth.  It is a duo product which has a highlighter on one side and a contour stick on another. These come in 4 different shades- Medium, Universal, Deep dark, deep rich, deep. If you are not sure about your shade and you have a medium skin tone then try universal. It is the best. I have used it and love it.  I like its contour side more than the highlighter though. These stick has the perfect shade of contours. Anyways, this is truly a wonder stick. You can use it for daily use and carry it anywhere. It is a great product with perfect consistency. Easily blendable and gives you benefit of both a contour and highlighter in this price point. I say GRAB this product.

• Maybelline New York Facestudio Master Strobing Stick

It’s not possible if we are talking about affordable makeup and Maybelline name doesn’t come up. They have come up with yet another great product. This cream highlighter is very light and does not cake up on your skin. It comes in a stick packaging and best for daily wear. It comes in 2 shades- Nude and Pink. I feel this will more suits to light to medium skin tone.

Tip:

• If you don’t know how to use a highlighter and a beginner, buy a liquid highlighter first and mix with your foundation, it will make your face glow.
• If you want a highlighter for daily wear, I suggest buy a cream based highlighter. They are super easily blendable and easy to use.
• If you are a pro in makeup, then defiantly powder based highlighters are perfect. They have a great finish and will highlighter just the high points of your face.
