Maybelline New York ColorShow Creamy Matte Lipcolor M201 Bold Crimson Review

Today i am in a mood of red so i thought to write this post on my red lipstick. The first thing that clicked my mind is my Maybelline New York ColorShow Creamy Matte Lipcolor in the shade M201. It is the perfect red color for a DIVA. I have wore this color mostly with my Indian attires or party dresses.

Packaging

Lipcolor packaging is quite simple as a budgeted product. It comes in a black plastic packaging which has shades and other information mentioned below the lipcolor tube. There is a colored band in the middle of the lipstick which distinguish its shades in pink, brown, red and purple. 

Texture, Finish and pigmentation

The texture is very creamy and smooth. It is moisturizing and hydrate you lips. You need not to apply Vaseline or lip balm before this lipstick. 

The finish what mentioned in the product is matte But i find it glossy and a bit shiny. 

The pigmentation is good but after few months the lipstick become very smooth and looses it brittleness. The lipcolor has a full coverage so you need not to do layering of product on your lips. 

My experience of the product

I bought this lipstick because i find the shade like Colobar Lipstick TAke me as i am - Red 014. Though the finish of this lipstick it not same like Colorbar lipstick  but it itself is a good product. I find the shade nice and has used it quite a number of times. Although this lipstick is transferable and doesn't stay for long. But still the color is so good that i couldn't resist to apply it. What i don't like about this lipstick is, its not matte, it has a glossy finish; to which i have to use a tissue after applying it to give it a matte finish. It is very hydrating formula and doesn't dry your lips till it stays. All in all the product with this price is good enough to use.
