Maybelline New York ColorShow Creamy Matte Lipcolor M202 Firecracker Red Review

Today i am in a mood of red so i thought to write this post on my red lipstick. The first thing that clicked my mind is my Maybelline New York ColorShow Creamy Matte Lipcolor in the shade M202. It is the perfect bright red color. I have wore this colour mostly with my Indian attires and party dresses.

Packaging

Lipcolor packaging is quite simple as a budgeted product. It comes in a black plastic packaging which has shades and other information mentioned below the lipcolor tube. There is a colored band in the middle of the lipstick which distinguish its shades in pink, brown, red and purple. 

Texture, Finish and pigmentation

The texture is very creamy and smooth. The formula is moisturizing and hydrate you lips. You need not to apply Vaseline or lip balm before this lipstick. 

The finish what mentioned in the product is matte But i find it glossy and a bit shiny. 

The pigmentation is good but after few months the lipstick become very smooth and looses it brittleness. The lipcolor has a full coverage so you need not to do layering of product on your lips. 

My experience of the product

I bought this lipstick as the shade is bright red simply fire cracking red. It is not red nor dark red. It has a bit tint of orange and red. It is bright and  vibrant shade. I have nothing like this kind so i invested in it. This shade works well with my party outfits and bagged me a couple of compliments as well. Although this lipstick is transferable and doesn't stay for long. But still the color is so good that i couldn't resist it. What i don't like about this lipstick is, its not matte and while taking pictures in flash , the shade may look brightest red which may not suit many skin tones. But if you take pics without flash then the color look amazing.  It is very hydrating formula and doesn't dry your lips till it last. Its a great shade to invest in.
